Wondering Which Guitars are Compatible with Rock Band 2?
There seems to be plenty of information out there about Rock Band 2 coming out and Guitar Hero World Tours exciting new instruments, but what if you already one one and have some of the gear, is it compatible?
Will your original Rock Band guitar work on Rock Band 2? Or possibly Guitar Heroes World Tour? Maybe more importantly for some, will the Guitar Hero World Tour instruments work on Rock Band or Rock Band 2?
This was one of the questions that I felt needed to be answered when I was trying to figure out whether to buy Rock Band 2 or to buy Guitar Hero World Tour. I wanted to know if I could buy one that came bundled with the instruments and then just buy the game disk and use the others instruments. Voila, best of both worlds I thought.
But after a couple hours on the net I was more confused than ever. It seems the Guitars from one game wouldn't work with the other at one point, due to technical differences between the two game developers. So at this point if you have all the game patches following is a quick rundown.
